De Pere ( di-PEER) is a city in Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. The city is part of the Green Bay metropolitan area, and its population was 25,410 at the 2020 census.

What is now De Pere is located on the ancestral homeland of the Menominee people. By the 17th century, the site was home to a multi-tribal settlement of several thousand people. It became a center of European missionary activity, and growth after colonization was driven by paper production.
