Hale is a village and electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, within the historic county boundaries of Cheshire. It lies 9 mi (14 km) southwest of Manchester, southeast of Altrincham. The population at the 2021 census was 16,715.
