Bury (, ) is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, Greater Manchester, England. It lies on the river Irwell, 5 miles (8 km) east of Bolton, 6 miles (9.7 km) south-west of Rochdale and 8 miles (12.9 km) north-west of Manchester. The town had a population of 81,101 in 2021, while the wider borough was 193,846.

The town is part of the historic county of Lancashire, and has been a part of the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester since 1974. Bury emerged in the Industrial Revolution as a mill town manufacturing textiles. The town is known for the open-air Bury Market and black pudding, the traditional local dish. Former prime minister, Sir Robert Peel, was born here.
