
Ambalangoda is a coastal town in Galle District, Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The town is famous for the hand crafting of traditional demon masks and its devil dancers.

Situated about 87 kilometres (54 mi) south of Colombo, and 33.4 km (20.8 mi) north of Galle. The town is distinct from the Ambalangoda Urban Council area. Their boundaries differ and the Urban Council governs a much larger area than the town itself.
