Calapan, officially the City of Calapan (Filipino: Lungsod ng Calapan), is a component city and the capital of the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 148,558 people, making it the most populous settlement in the entire island of Mindoro.

Calapan is the regional and administrative center of the MIMAROPA region as well as its second largest city in the region, after Puerto Princesa in Palawan. It is the only city on the island of Mindoro and one of only two cities in MIMAROPA.
The city also serves as the primary center of commerce, industry, transportation, communication, religious activities, and education in the province of Oriental Mindoro.
The city serves as a primary gateway to Oriental Mindoro, a role enhanced by the Strong Republic Nautical Highway (SRNH) network. Its main maritime hub, the Port of Calapan, is the busiest seaport on Mindoro Island and is located 45 minutes to 3 hours from the Batangas International Port via ferry or roll-on/roll-off (RORO) vessels. Additionally, the port features the largest passenger terminal building in the Philippines and records the highest passenger volume in the region, catering to millions of travelers annually.
