Tral is a town, sub-district, and a notified area committee in the Pulwama district of the Indian-administered Jammu and kashmir. The town is situated at a distance of 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the summer capital, Srinagar and 26 kilometres (16 mi) from district headquarters, Pulwama. Tral is the second largest municipal area committee in Pulwama district.
