Sholinghapuram, shortened to Sholinghur is a municipality in the Sholinghur taluk in Ranipet district, Tamil Nadu, India. It is known in Tamil Nadu and neighboring states for its Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

Sholinghur, between Tiruttani (Tamil Nadu) and Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), connects major towns and cities such as Chennai, Vellore, Arakkonam, Ranipet (Tamil Nadu), and Bengaluru (Karnataka). With 27 wards, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party carried 19 wards in the 2022 local elections.
