Orlová is a town in Karviná District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 27,000 inhabitants.

During the 20th century, the town developed rapidly thanks to coal mining, but the mining also severely damaged the town. In the 21st century, the town is struggling with structural problems and high unemployment. It is infamously known as the worst town in which to live in the Czech Republic according to the national Quality of Life Index.
