Jablonec nad Nisou is a city in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 46,000 inhabitants. It is the second-largest city in the region and forms a conurbation with the neighbouring city of Liberec. The city is located on the Lusatian Neisse River, in a basin surrounded by the Jizera Mountains.

Jablonec nad Nisou was founded in the 14th century, but it only became a town in 1866. From the 18th century, it is known for its glass and costume jewelry production, especially for bijou. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone. The most architecturally valuable building is the New Town Hall, protected as a national cultural monument.
