Prince Edward County (PEC) is a single-tier municipality in southern Ontario, Canada on the Bay of Quinte. Located on Lake Ontario’s northeastern shore, the area is known for Sandbanks Provincial Park and as a cottage country and wine country destination due to its waterfront forested landscapes and many small wineries. Technically a peninsula, the completion of the Murray Canal in 1889, near Carrying Place, made PEC functionally a man-made island.

Approximately 1,000 square kilometres, Picton is the largest population center, followed by Wellington, Bloomfield, Ameliasburgh, Milford, and Consecon. In 2021, Prince Edward County had a census population of 25,704.
